Fodder Bank (Chara Bank) at Kalsi was established in the year 2009 with an aim to provide fodder to animals during the lean crop season in hills as well as plain region of Garhwal Mandal of the state where there is less accessibility to green and dry fodder. Fodder Bank produces two types of Compact Feed Blocks (CFB) commonly known as Bhusa Bheli.

1. RAHAT BHELI compromises 90% wheat straw and 10% molasses @ Rs. 102 per CFB.
2. DUDHARU BHELI compromises 70% wheat straw, 20% concentrate and 10% molasses @ Rs. 155 per CFB.
Compact Feeb Block production capacity of the plant is 90-110 blocks per hour. Over the years, through extensive production of CFB, fodder bank has managed to meet the fodder deficit of different regions of Garhwal Mandal via 57 Upchara Banks at various districts of Uttarakhand.
